Aggie Marching Band

Whether entertaining thousands with our pre-game and halftime shows, cheering the USU Football Team onto victory, or uniting the Aggie Blue and Fighting White spirit of the Utah State faithful with the sounds of the "Fight Song" or the world-famous "Scotsman," there is no experience quite like being a part of the Aggie Marching Band!

Comprised of students from every corner of the University, the AMB membership represents the very best of what USU has to offer. The Marching Band is an integral part of the comprehensive USU Band Program and is open to students of all majors and classes from freshman to graduate. We perform at all Aggie home football games, select away games, and post-season bowl games.

As a member of the AMB family, you will have countless opportunities to develop as a musician and a leader. You will form friendships on the first day of Marching Band Camp that will last the rest of your life, and the memories created as we make music together will be second to none. Prior marching experience is not required. We'll teach you everything you need to know!

A stipend is available to all AMB members.

Join the Aggie Marching Band, and let us help you make your USU experience unforgettable.

Meet our 2022 Trumpet Section Leaders!

Maddie Mackay & Jules Colombel

AMB Trumpet Section Leaders 2022

From Maddie
Hello! I’m Maddie Mackay (MACK-ee). This is my 4th year in the Aggie Marching Band. I grew up in Southern California but my family lives in Utah now. I’m a physics major and major nerd. I like math (weird I know), reading, anything to do with space, and of course, music! I also play the piano, ukulele, and organ. I’m so excited for this marching season!
From Jules
Hi! My name is Jules Colombel (CALL-um-bell). I am double-majoring in Music Education (Band) and Trumpet Performance. I play trumpet, a bit of ukulele, a bit of guitar, and a bit of bass. This is my fourth year in college and my third year in the Aggie Marching Band (not counting 2020). I originally grew up in California for 13 years before moving to Utah in 2014. I now live in Clearfield, UT. I mostly do music or hangout with friends and family in my free time. So, it is nice pursuing a career in something I love doing! If you have any questions or concerns about anything, please reach out to me or Maddie! I look forward to working with you this season!
