Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is a 90-member ensemble made up of students who enjoy music-making in a large band setting. The Fall Symphonic Band performs one concert at the end of the semester, while the Spring Symphonic Band performs two concerts. The membership of the Symphonic Band represents USU's finest students from all disciplines on campus who enjoy continuing their band experience while pursuing the degree program of their choice.

Don’t miss the Utah premiere of Gabriela Lena Frank’s “La Llorona” featuring USU faculty solo violist Bradley Ottesen. Ginastera’s “Pampeana No. 3” and Inocente Carreño’s “Margariteña” will transport you to the Argentinean prairies and the Caribbean coasts.
