LoRo (Logan to Rome) Benefit Concert

Help raise funds for the Utah State University Jazz Orchestra’s trip to Europe! Whether you’re a jazz enthusiast, swing dancer, lover of big band music, or simply someone who appreciates the arts, this event is for you. USU students, alumni, supportive locals, and out-of-town guests are all welcome.

Join us for an evening of nostalgic music, delicious mocktails and incredible deals on local business products and services.

The Orchestra has been invited to perform at the prestigious 2024 Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Italy, and the 2024 Ancona Jazz Summer Festival in Ancona, Italy. We need your help to cover the expenses and make this dream a reality for our talented students.

100% of net proceeds from this event will help pay for their trip, including airfare, lodging, transportation, and meals.

Event Highlights:
Admission: Free with a suggested donation.
Mocktail Bar: Indulge in delicious and refreshing alcohol-free beverages. $6 each or two for $10.
Silent Auction & Raffle: Browse and bid on a fantastic array of donated items at amazing discounts.
Benefit Concert by the USU Jazz Orchestra: Immerse yourself in the swing era with classic and modern Big Band music.

Fry Street Chamber Music Festival

The Fry Street Chamber Music Festival Concert Series offers four can’t-miss performance experiences from the Fry Street Quartet, festival guest artists and faculty, and festival students all in the glorious acoustics of the Russell/Wanlass Performance Hall on the Utah State University Campus.

July 15 | 7:30 PM - featuring William Hagen, Violin
July 18 | 7:30 PM - featuring Ben Laude, Piano; John T. Posadas, Viola; Cahill Smith, Piano
July 20 | 3:00 PM - Final Student Concert*

Come see the hot band event of the summer with directors Lane Weaver, Nicholas Morrison, and Thomas Rohrer! June events are located on The Quad by Old Main (moved to the Daines Concert Hall if weather is inclement). July events will be located in the Daines Concert Hall.
